Black Hills State University

Title: Assistant Professor, Committee Member
Location: Spearfish, SD
Dates: 2013-2014
Description: I taught courses on technology integration and research methods for graduate students enrolled in an online Master’s degree program. During my tenure, BHSU’s graduate program in education was recognized as being one of the top 15 online offerings in the nation. I also served on the University’s technology and social committees.

The University of Virginia

Title: Instructor, Student Supervisor, Researcher, Graduate Fellow
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Dates: 2009-2013
Description: I was the instructor for EDIS 5450, a graduate-level course at the University of Virgina’s Curry School of Education. EDIS 5450 was a course that focused on technology integration in K-12 settings, and it featured and emphasis on the use of emerging technologies like Web 2.0 applications, digital fabricators, and mobile devices.

The TIP Program

Title: Director
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Dates: 2009-2013
Description: The Technology Infusion Program (TIP) was a partnership between the University of Virginia and Albemarle County Public Schools. The program’s purpose was to increase technology integration in classrooms. As director, I coordinated schedules, managed student experiences, and actively recruited prospective students and teachers.
